Microchip Medicine: Easy Delivery
UPI.com recently covered microchip medicine delivery. Apparently, MicroCHIPS, Inc., a drug delivery and biosensing company, is “pioneering intelligent implantation devices designed to improve the health of millions of people with chronic conditions requiring careful monitoring and precise therapy”. According to this report of MicroCHIPS’ first successful human trial, implantation took 30 minutes and the women were able to walk home, unescorted. A local town is featured in Computerworld! Eden Prairie’s police force is using drones created by an Edina company, ReconRobotics. Throw these unmanned ground vehicles into a tricky spot, and voila, we’re safer.
