Microchip Medicine:  Easy Delivery

UPI.com recently covered microchip medicine delivery.   Apparently, MicroCHIPS, Inc., a drug delivery and biosensing company, is “pioneering intelligent implantation devices designed to improve the health of millions of people with chronic conditions requiring careful monitoring and precise therapy”.  According to this report of MicroCHIPS’ first successful human trial, implantation took 30 minutes and the women were able to walk home, unescorted.  Developer  and MIT engineering Professor Dr. Michael J. ComputerWorld: Eden Prairie’s Recon Scout Throwbot
